We're here!

Dear Mom,

We've arrived safely in town, and the ship's captain actually returned our passage fees since we did such a good job in protecting it! We went to meet with Sir Ingish, but he's vanished. His son told us about running from an ambush by hill giants (once we were able to sober him up!) and leaving his father and his friend behind. On the one hand, I feel sorry for him, because giants are nasty creatures, but on the other, the little coward ran away, leaving his own father to his fate! I never even knew Dad, and I love Uncle very much, but if I had my own father around, I certainly wouldn't run away when he was in danger.

Anyway, we're going to set out to the last place Sir Ingish was seen, and start looking for him in the morning. I hope to find him alive, as well as the other boy he was with, but things don't look good.
